Lorraine F. Lewis, Age 93, of North Chicago, formerly of Lindenhurst, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Lake Forest Hospital. She was born February 28, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois. Lorraine was a member of Prince of Peace Church in Lake Villa and The Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by her daughter, Loren Lee McKinnon (nee Lewis), husband, Jim; grandson, Stephen Lee Townsend, wife Allison; great-granddaughter, Hailey Lauren Townsend; half-sister, Gertrude Czerniak. Preceded in death by her husband, Lee R. Lewis the first Mayor of Lindenhurst; sister, Florence Jacki and Aunt Ann Motika. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Prince of Peace in Lake Villa at 10 am. Visitation Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 5-8 pm with an Eastern Star Service at 7:30 pm at Marsh Funeral Home of Gurnee. Private Burial at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, Illinois.
