Matthew J. Senica, 89, passed away September 26, 2011 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, Illinois. He was born February 20, 1922 in Oglesby, Illinois and was an US Army Veteran. Matt was an avid golfer, Bears fan, and craftsman of carpentry. He retired as a foreman for Outboard Marine Corp. after 18 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 69 years Dolores K. Senica (nee Jaynes), two sons Thomas (Rosie) Senica and Jerry (Maureen) Senica; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters Mary Hodnik of Fox Lake and Ann Guggemos of Oglesby, Illinois; and daughter-in-law, Nola Senica. Preceded in death by son Stephen Senica; seven brothers and two sisters. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Dismas Catholic Church, 2600 Sunset Ave., Waukegan on Saturday October 1, 2011 at 10am with a visitation starting at 9am. Entombment will be at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, Illinois.
