Michael Edward Miller

Michael was born on June 18, 1943, in Chicago, IL, to Lawrence and Isabel Miller. He attended school in Chicago, graduating from St. Benedict’s High School, and went on to attend Loyola University.

He married Noreen on October 26, 1963, in Chicago, IL. Michael worked in sales for the Nestlé Corporation for over 20 years.

He and Noreen were longtime, dedicated members of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Gurnee. Michael enjoyed photography, sailing, jogging, and, for many years, annual trips to Florida. His greatest joy in life was his family, to whom he devoted himself fully.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, John Miller; his granddaughter, Emma Miller; and three siblings, John, Barbara, and his twin sister, Patricia.

Michael is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Noreen; his four children, Dave (Kristi) Miller, Michelle (Ken) Ralph, Patricia (Jack Jr.) Bowser, and Larry (Jodi) Miller; nine grandchildren, Sam (Nicki), Ben, Adam, Jessica, Erin (Joey), Lauren, Lawson, Nick, and Jake; and one great-grandson, Henry, along with many other family members and friends.

A Memorial Mass for Michael will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (6401 Gages Lake Road, Gurnee, IL).
