Robert Arthur Jordan

Robert A. Jordan, age 82, of Waukegan passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Vista Medical Center East. Robert was born on February 4th, 1940 in Waukegan to Louis and Lillian (Johnson) Jordan. He attended local schools and graduated from Waukegan High School in 1958. Robert was drafted into the U.S. Army while working for Goodyear. He proudly served from 1963 until his honorable discharge in 1969. Robert also worked for Illinois Bell for 20 years. He enjoyed cars and loved learning whatever he could about them. Robert also enjoyed being out in nature and especially loved animals. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by, his parents and two brothers-in-law, Walter Edwards and William Bald.

Robert is survived by, two sisters, Elizabeth Edwards and Alice Bald; seven nieces and nephews; two great nieces and a great nephew; 4 great great nieces and nephews; as well as many friends, especially his close friend, Delores Watson.

In accordance with Robert’s wishes, private graveside services will be held. Condolences may be left on his obituary at the funeral homes website.
