Ruth I. Ingold, age 89, of Waukegan, passed away on October 10, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Emil Ingold. Loving mom of Sue (Andy) Hamlet, and the late Richard Ingold. Cherished grandma of Julie Hamlet, Jennifer (Bill) Riordan, and Alan (Kristin) Hamlet. Great-grandma of Jack and Finn Riordan, and Asher Hamlet.
Ruth was first and foremost dedicated to her faith and family. She was and active member and volunteer of First Presbyterian Church and considered the church as her second family. An avid gardener, Ruth grew many vegetables and beautiful flowers every season. She was an avid reader of mystery novels, and crocheted many beautiful items for family and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 16 from 9:30-10:30 AM at First Presbyterian Church of Waukegan, 122 N Martin Luther King Jr Ave, Waukegan. Celebration of Life Service will follow directly after the visitation at 10:30 AM. Interment will be private.
The family would like to thank the staff at Rolling Hills Manor Nursing Home for their loving support and care over the last few years.
