

Taylor Mae Stinchcomb of Gurnee, 15, was born June 4, 1996, in Lake Forest, and went to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 21, 2011, from injuries suffered in a car accident. On Tuesday of this week, all of heaven rejoiced receiving her. Taylor's beloved pet dog, Romulus, also perished in the accident. Taylor was a lifelong resident of Gurnee. She attended Warren Township High School and was a member of the Class of 2014. Taylor above all things loved. Taylor loved her Lord, she loved her family and friends and she loved animals. Taylor was accomplished in many sports including softball and basketball and she particularly loved horseback riding. Taylor was so very full of life and knew she was right with God. She was very active in her youth group and volunteered in many ministries at church including reffing Upward Basketball games, Kids' World and the cafe. Taylor's family is very proud of her and looks forward to seeing her again in heaven. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William T. Stinchcomb, and James and Jo Faulkner. Taylor's family, siblings, Mallorie, Amy and Joey; grandmother, Jan Stinchcomb; and her parents, Bill and Lee Ann Stinchcomb request in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Immanuel Church Youth Missions. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 24, and from 9 a.m. until the time of Taylor's life celebration service at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25. All activities will be held at Immanuel Church, 2300 N. Dilleys Road, Gurnee. Arrangements were made by Marsh Funeral Home, Gurnee.
