Tomasa A Castillo

Tomasa is survived by her children Eddie Castillo, Greg Castillo, Victor Castillo JR, Tommy Castillo, Gloria Castillo, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Andrea Aguilar, Dahlia Aguilar, Lala Aguilar, Jesse Aguilar and Oralia Ramirez. She was preceded by her husband, Victoriano; her daughters Rosalinda Charo and Francisca Puentes; and her brother, Agustine Aguilar Jr. Tomasa was born in Beeville Texas on December 21, 1926, to Agustine and Francisca Aguilar.

She loved being with her family and hosting parties on the farm. Tomasa always made sure that everyone was well-fed and felt cared for. She and her husband, Victoriano, enjoy dancing, and she found joy listening to Tejano music and Los Tigres del Norte. Her favorite television programs were Law & Order, and Hallmark Christmas movies. Tomasa adored Betty Boop and collected anything with her on it.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL. A funeral mass will be held at 9:30 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 114 Lincoln Ave, Round Lake, IL. Interment to follow at Highland Memorial Park, 33100 Hunt Club Road in Libertyville.
