Carol L. Aerenson

AERENSON—Carol Lucy Aerenson, 77, died August 8, 2025. Beloved daughter of the late Marjorie and Robert Aerenson. Survived by many loving cousins and friends. Carol worked at NBC at Rockefeller Center for her entire professional career, in News, Documentaries, Sports and Archives. Even after formal retirement, she continued to work on special projects due to her vast knowledge of archived materials, documentary production and programming protocol. Carol was proud of the projects she worked on and the talented individuals that she assisted during her long-term affiliation with NBC.

Carol loved her extended family deeply and maintained close relationships with her grandparents, aunts and uncles, their spouses, children and in-laws with whom she enthusiastically celebrated holidays and birthdays. A diligent personal correspondent, she wrote cards and notes in beautiful handwriting to many. Carol loved New York City, sightseeing, Broadway shows, music concerts, the ballet, and dining at Knickerbockers.

Funeral 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 11, 2025 at Cedar Park and Beth El Cemeteries, 735 Forest Avenue, Paramus, NJ. If desired, donations may be made to an organization of your choosing, the Marjorie G. Aerenson Memorial Award through the National Council of Jewish Women Bergen County Section or the Temple Emeth Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund, 1666 Windsor Road, Teaneck, NJ.
