Edmund Dollinger

Edmund was married to his wife Ruth for 53 years before she died in 2013. He was beloved by his children Michael & Helane of Livingston NJ, Jeffrey & Holly of Millwood NY, and his grandchildren Eric, Jack & Leah.

Edmund was an attorney who practiced law for over 50 years. He graduated from Stuyvesant High School in New York, earned his BA and JD degrees from New York University and served in the US Army. He competed in fencing for his university and at the 1952 US Olympic trials. Edmund enjoyed playing tennis, having dinners with his family, and later in life became an avid writer, who self-published four entertaining legal thrillers. He valued his many friends and associates, who viewed him as a gentleman.

Funeral service will be on Wednesday 1/21 at 12:30 PM at Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors 402 Park St, Hackensack, NJ 07601

Burial is at Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652

Shivah following the service will be held (approx. 3PM) at Jewish Home Assisted Living, 685 Westwood Ave., River Vale, NJ 07675

Shivah on Thursday 1/22 will be held from 3 - 9 PM (Minyan at 7PM) at the home of Michael and Helane Dollinger, 5 Tanger Drive, Livingston, NJ 07039
