I am so saddened to learn of Hillary Berhang's passing.  I think of her often and always wanted to tell her she was my favorite teacher in ps 30.  I saw a post on Facebook asking who your favorite teacher was and decided to google her. I wish I had the opportunity to tell her how much she influenced my decisions in life. My sincere condolences to her family.

Hilary was a student teacher at. P.S. 30 school in Jersey City, NJ. As one of her students, I remember her fondly because she was an outstanding musician and a wonderfully caring teacher. My prayers of comfort and love to her family and friends.

Hilary was a dear friend and my favorite bridge partner.  Even if we were not playing well, she was full of laughs and she had a knack for putting our opponents in stitches.  I will forever remember her vivaciousness, and spirit of fun. Yesterday we had our 2nd Annual Hilary Sutcliffe Memorial Bridge Tournament at Scripps Ranch Community Center.  We raised over $1170 for the American Lung Association, and her friends told Hilary stories all morning long. I still miss her. 760-317-6174

 I still cannot believe you're no longer here, but I know you are with Jim now and that is a comforting thought.  You started out as my teacher and became family.  I am so grateful that Jenn and I were able to spend time with you a few weeks ago.  Thank you for always being there for us.  I will forever miss your honesty, kindness and unwavering love.  The world is a much sadder place without the Sutcliffes in it, I feel so lucky to have had you both in my life as long as I did.
