Jodi Beth Lyons

She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. to Linda and Sheldon Lyons. The family lived in Howard Beach, N.Y., Yorktown Heights, New City and South Nyack. Jodi graduated from Clarkston High School in 1977 and the Florida Business Institute in 1992.

Jodi worked for the last 19 years for Anesthesia Management Group based in Mount Kisco where she was supervisor of the coding department. Earlier in her career she worked for the Gannett Company's Newspaper Division in Advertising & Circulation sales in Ft Myers Florida and in Westchester -Rockland counties for the Journal -News.

Jodi loved singing and was a devoted member of her Temple Choir. She was everyone’s friend and was always available to help a needy person or needy cause. She was known as "Miss Sunshine" with a smile on her face and a giggle in her throat. She loved the Yankees and football Giants along with American Idol, Dancing With The Stars and Judge Judy.

Jodi is survived by her loving and devoted son Chad, her parents Linda & Sheldon Lyons of Longmeadow ,Ma, her companion Carlos Vazque, her sister Stacy Lyons and her husband Andy Zodikoff of Ashland ,MA, her sister Pamela Kalman and her husband David Kalman of Longmeadow,Ma, niece Molly Lyons Zodikoff, nephews Alexander Lyons Zodikoff, Zachary Kalman and Noah Kalman.

Funeral was held November 30, 2014 at Temple Beth Haverim Shir Shalom 280 Ramapo Valley Rd, Mahwah N.J. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jodi's memory may be made to Temple Beth Haverim Shir Shalom or The Joe Raso Hospice, 415 Buena Vista Rd New City, N.Y. 10956
