George was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Dora Goldman, his sister Bessie Kartch and her husband Abe Kartch, his brother and his wife Dr. David and Sarah Goldman, the love of his life, wife Shirley Goldman and his son Stephen Goldman.
He is survived by his son Eddie Goldman & his wife Susan and Robert Goldman and his wife Carmen. In addition he has eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
George was active in the Bayonne Little League and was a founding member and first president of the Bayonne High School Booster Club. He was a long time member of the Thirty-Third Street Club, and Temple Beth Am. He was the last surviving member of the Pioneer Softball Team.
He was truly a remarkable man loved by all who lived life to the fullest and will be greatly missed.
Funeral Services will be held at Temple Beth Am, 111 Avenue B, Bayonne, at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, September 21st with interment to follow at Baron Hirsch Cemetery in Staten Island, NY.
