My sincere condolences to the family of Steve Milligram.  He was not a friend of mine, and I did not know him very well, but I have known him since 1987, when he was an adversary on a case.  He was a gentlemen at the same time as being a smart and able advocate, which not all able advocates seem to be capable of.  There were year-plus periods of time I did not see him over the three-plus decades since meeting him, but he always gave me a warm greeting when I did see him in court.  I never appeared before him when he was on the bench, but I have no doubt he was fair and that he exercised compassion.  I am certain he had a wonderful temperament to be a judge.  I was sad to hear of his death.  I hope his family will cherish what I am certain are many good memories of this decent and wonderful human being.

We are sorry to hear of  the passing of Judge Milligram. It was always a pleasure to appear in the Town of Monroe when he presided as the Town Justice . Our thoughts and prayers are for his family.

I'm so deeply sorry for your loss.  In the short time I've known him, he became one of my favorite judges, definitely at the top of my list. He was always pleasant, patient, so down to Earth and so easy to talk to. Great energy to be around with. I will forever miss some of our conversations usually revolved around music which of course he had great taste in and also family.  I was looking forward to getting to know him more.  He will truly be missed.

What a dear friend you were. The world is at a loss

My wife and I were Married by Judge Milligram .  He was a very nice guy.  It was a pleasure to meet him and to do our special Marriage.  A very funny guy with a great attitude about life.  May he Rest In Peace.  Our Condolences and Prayers to the family in this difficult time.

I knew Judge Miligram for over 40 years. He and Michelle were two years behind my wife Maria and I in Law School. Steve also appeared before me when I presided in Supreme Court in Orange County. He was a brilliant lawyer.  I always felt that the medical malpractice attorneys were among the best trial lawyers, Steve included.  Always well prepared, articulate, respectful to both the court and his adversaries. What more can you ask for in an attorney, or a judge.

I was truly saddened to read of Steve's passing.   All of us at CompuWeather worked with him over the years on many cases as his weather experts.  He was always a pleasure to speak with.  We are sending our deepest sympathy to Steve's family - he spoke of you with great pride and love.

Judge Milligram was a true gentleman when he was an attorney and maintained gentleman status when he became a Justice of the Supreme Court. As a Senior Court Reporter in Orange County, I had the privilege and honor of working with him when he was an attorney and also when he became Judge. I had the benefit of being assigned to his courtroom for a term and he made my job so much easier. He would often glance over at me and ask me if I needed a break. He was so compassionate and caring. I am going to miss that smile of his. Orange County Supreme Court will never be the same without him. He will truly be missed. My heartfelt condolences to his wife and children whom he always spoke of and loved dearly😇

We were so saddened to hear of the sudden passing of such a warm and kindhearted man.  Steven  Milligram touched our lives in so many wonderful ways making the world  a better place with Steven in it. We will miss him greatly.  Our hearts go out to you and our thoughts remain with you and your family.
