I remember Rabbi Weinberger,  a great man is an understatement he exuded the high qualities of compassion, virtue sincerity that I can describe , a beautiful  heart . I wish in my younger days I would have followed  and study from him but I was occupied with other affairs in life . If there is a light that could shine bright only exuded from Rabbi Weinberger

I am so sorry to just hear about Rabbi Weinberger's  passing.  Rabbi Weinberger and his family will always hold a special place in my heart for their kindness to my parents and I.

                   ( THE TRUTH LIES NOT HERE)

Many think that when we “die”,we see no
God above on high.  They falsely think we
Lie in ground, ina darkened place without a 
Sound.  This great untruth is ancient fable,
That when we “die” we beve unable, Disarm
This myth you images of God while on this sphere You live and plod.  Earth is cold- souls are warm, and in spirit life our souls don’t mourn.  Our Heavenly lives are purely bliss.  What we leave on Earth, we do not miss.

I was very sad to hear that Rabbi Weinberger had passed.

He was very special man who profoundly influenced my life in many ways. First, he was my rabbi. I grew up in New Rochelle and had my bar mitzvah at Anshe Sholom. I remember Rabbi's iron grip handshake pulling you close to him as if it was yesterday. To this day, my knowledge of Judaism is directly traceable to my Hebrew school training at the shul.

When my father died suddenly and unexpectedly, it was Rabbi Weinberger who officiated at his funeral and helped my family mourn as well as to start the healing process. 

Years later, I moved to San Francisco and ultimately met my wife Marilyn. Who else would I call but Rabbi Weinberger to ask if he would marry us? He flew to California and did a beautiful job officiating at our ceremony at the Fairmont Hotel, complete with the clanging of the cable cars! 

Soon thereafter, there were two sons, Daniel and Aaron. The rabbi's iron grip came in handy as the mohel for both of their brisot. 

While we were living in Boston, we had the pleasure of having dinner one night with the rabbi and his wife at their apartment in New Rochelle. 

Whether looking at our Ketubah, my sons, our wedding album or when I'm in shul, I am reminded of his impact. My family and I have been truly blessed by having had Rabbi Weinberger in our lives.
