I learned of Sy’s passing this morning. Sy was a wonderful man, smart, generous, nurturing and kind, always kind. A gentleman in a not so gentlemanly industry. I enjoyed my years working with Sy at Beacon Looms, and am sorry to learn of his passing.

Just want to send my sympathies. Sy was a great man and taught me many things but mostly he shared compassion with everyone he came in contact with. I have thought about him many times and am so sorry to hear about his passing.
