Survived by his son Mark Shirvan, daughter in law Amy, and granddaughters Leigh Shirvan Helfenbein (David) and Randi Shirvan Chung (Alex). Great-grandchildren Noa, Dylan and Cameron.

Moved to Tenafly, NJ in 1967 where he lived until his death.
