Steven, known as Ami to family, was born in New York, NY, in 1923. He served his country during WWII, in the Fighting 69th; he loved languages, classical music, and the UConn women's basketball team.
He is survived by his daughter, Judy, and son, Jason; his son-in-law, Howard, and daughter-in-law, Angela; his grandchildren Jessica, Ray, Danielle, Becca, and Hannah; and his great-grandchild, Isabelle. He was predeceased by his wife of seventy-four years, May.
A graveside funeral service for Steven will be held Friday, April 7th, at 12:00 noon at the Riverside Cemetery, 12 Market Street, Saddle Brook, NJ 07662.
Those attending should begin to meet at the cemetery's office at 11:30 AM. The cemetery's foreman will escort us to the grave at noon for the service.
