HANSON, Alfred Wallace (DFC. PhD) age 90, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2014. He was born in Winnipeg on November 1, 1923, son of Dr. George and Mrs. Agnes B. (Clemens) Hanson. He was predeceased by his parents, by his older sister Aileen Skinner, of Victoria, and by Marjory (Sweetman) Hanson, his wife of 56 years. He is survived by his younger sister Joan Speirs of Ottawa, by his son Dr. John Hanson (Patricia), of San Diego, and by his daughter Margaret Hanson (Tony Knight), of Vancouver. By his request there was no service and no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
