Regimbal, Anthony, “Tony” – 69, Halifax. It is with great sadness that his family announces his sudden passing on November 8, 2025. Born in Digby, Nova Scotia. He was predeceased by his parents Marcel and Betty Regimbal.
Tony had a distinguished career for 30 years as a Program Officer with Service Canada. He would often say he had a wonderful job because he gave away money to help people.
Tony had an incredible zest for life, nature, animals, music, and antique cars. Upon his retirement he spent many fulfilling days restoring a 1967 Galaxy. A labor of love that gave him great happiness.
His favorite place was his cottage in Brooklyn. He spent many happy days in his piece of paradise over the last 17 years. He enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, fishing, feeding the birds and enjoying mother nature. He and Peggy loved spending time there together.
Tony was always the first one to lend a helping hand to people. You could always count on him to shovel the neighbor’s driveway, cut the grass. Always there to help the seniors in his neighborhood.
Tony was a wonderful friend to many people, especially his childhood friend of 50 years George Bauer.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 26 years Peggy, fur baby Sam, Brothers, Terry, Mike (Terrilynn), sister Lisa (Mike), Aunt Avis Levernois, nephews Mike, Stephen, nieces Molly, Jenny, great nieces Jillian, Jaelyn, Aliyah, Raya, Frankie, great nephews Hilton and Carey and many wonderful cousins.
Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, November 18th at 11:00am at Cruikshank’s Funeral Home 2666 Windsor Street, Halifax. Interment will take place a later date.
Tony will always be in our hearts and never forgotten.
