Our deepest condolences Leah and family. We have so many fond memories but what stands out the most was his absolute devotion to his family, he completely adored each of you.
He was a gentle giant with a delightful sense of humour.
Psalm 25 seems such a fitting Scripture as our thoughts turn to memories of him.
May HaShem be your strength and comfort now and always.

My deepest and heart-felt condolences for the whole extended family of Reb Avner. I am praying for you, MMin Leah, and wish you peace and strength. The CTOMC page I have on Facebook remains active for your use and anyone who finds comfort in it. I look forward to meeting Yeshua in the clouds, and you and Reb and all my other loved ones. I remember the strong support and encouragement I received from Reb, and he really helped me through my hardest times. I am forever grateful and thankful to him for that and for his ministry and love to many people. He truly cared from his heart about everyone. Be blessed in Yeshua's name!

Jack and I met Rabbi Av in 1996 and have loved him ever since. He was so instrumental in teaching me to walk in Torah and how I could teach others. He encourage me to step out in Torah ministry (Heart To Heart Ministry) and always called me Messianic Minister Lynda MacDonald because he said I had earned that title. Our first Passover memorial was led by him. May his memory endure and his works be found worthy.

I first crossed paths with Reb.Solomon in the parking lot of Beaubassin School
In Bedford where our sons were going to primary grades. Although we seldom spoke, because our cars were often parked next to one another as we waited for the klaxon to sound and our sons to come out of school for the day, I often had opportunity to hear his strong calm voice and knew immediately that here was a man who indeed knew ‘a thing or two’ as the old adage goes, and knew how to say it.
We both were doting fathers who loved our sons and every day, rain or shine throughout the school year, he and I were there to pick up our boys after school. As it happened, his son Zach and my boy Louis would go on over the years to become good friends. A more loving and caring home I could not have wished for.
My deepest heartfelt condolences go to Leah and the Solomon family. Reb Avner was one of the best....... "Hamakom y'nachem etchem b'toch sh'ar availai tziyon ee yerushalayim." May God comfort you among all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
