Lawrence, Christina Lockhart, of Halifax passed away November 9, 2014, in the Halifax Infirmary site, QEII Hospital. Born in Falmouth, she was a daughter of the late George and Anna (Lockhart) Lawrence.
Christina was a graduate of the Victoria General Hospital. She worked in Edmonton, Alberta and Montreal, Quebec, in the Neurosurgery Units before returning to Halifax as head nurse at the Victoria General Hospital until her retirement.
She is survived by her sister, Geraldine Buchanan of Moncton, New Brunswick; and several nieces and nephews.
Christina was predeceased by her twin sister, Georgina Wilcox, and brothers, Harold Lawrence and Major Arthur Lawrence.
Cremation has taken place.
There will be a private burial in Falmouth, Nova Scotia.
