Dale Rhonda Saunders

Farmer-Saunders, Dale Rhonda age 63, of Halifax, went home to be with Her Lord on November 25, 2017 at the QEII Health Sciences Center Halifax Infirmary Site, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Halifax she was a daughter of the late Lester A Farmer and Janette Marie (Symonds) Farmer. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her. She was a civilian employee of DND Supply and Services for 25+ years until her retirement due to the progression of MS. Dale was a proud member of Cornwallis Street Baptist Church.

She is survived by brother Courtlandt, Dartmouth; sisters, Irma and Rita (Marlene) both of Halifax; 3 nieces; 3 nephews and several great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Dorothy (Symonds) Carter, and brothers Dennis Symonds and Lester Farmer.

The Family would like to thank the staff at Northwood for their care and compassion shown to Dale and her family over the years.

Visitation 2-4, 6-8 Thursday, November 30, in Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St. Halifax. Funeral Service will be held 1pm Friday, December 1, in Cornwallis Street Baptist Church. Dr. Rhonda Britton officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the M.S. Society of Canada or Cornwallis Street Baptist Church.
