On behalf of the family, It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Debi-lee Joanne Power, age 40, of Halifax, Nova Scotia on March 1st 2025
Debi-lee is survived by her brother Stephen(Wanda) her sister Danielle, half-sister April, her 3 sons AJ, Anthony, and Adrien, her dad Jim Mercer and her cousin Michelle, who she was raised with and loved like a sister, many aunts, including her Aunt Weezy who she shared a special bond with, uncles, cousins, nieces Lyric,Jaylin,Jersey, great-niece Hope, and nephews Tristan and Hayden
She was preceded in death by her mother Ruth Susan Power and brother David.
Debi-lee made multiple attempts to live her life the best she knew and loved her children more than anything. We believe she left this earth wishing that her children would find safety in this mixed-up world. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is finally at peace and with her mom!
A visitation for Debi-lee will be held Monday, March 10, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Cruikshank's Halifax Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, Halifax, NS
