PENTZ, Gordon age 93 of Halifax passed away on September 26, 2017 at his home. Gordon was the son of the late Rev. Dr. A.G. Pentz and Mrs. Susie B. Pentz and was predeceased by his wife Marjorie, brother Robert and grandson, Greg.
Gordon is survived by his daughter, Joanne; sons, Donald, Robert (Anita) and David (Rose); granddaughters, Karla (Gary) and Heidi (Matt); grandsons, Nicholas (Meghan), Jonathan, Sean (Jackie) and Brian (Melissa) and great-granddaughters, Messier, Rylee, Isabella and Hallie; great-grandsons Gabriel and Logan; his sister, Jean; sister-in-law, Mae and granddaughter-in-law, Dayna.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 3 at 11am from Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, Halifax with Debbie Aitken officiating. Interment will take place in the family plot at Fairview Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rockingham United Church.
