93, of Indian Harbour, passed away April 28, 2009, in St. Vincent's Nursing Home, Halifax. Born in Indian Harbour, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Kathleen Covey. Edith lived in Dartmouth for 25 years. She was a long-term employee of McNab's print in Halifax and retired from Boland's where she worked as a keypunch operator. She is survived by son, David (Christine) of Molega Lake; brother, Donald (Catherine) Covey; nephew, Clifford (Kara) Covey. Edith is predeceased by husband, John Joseph Gordon and brother, Moyle Covey. Visitation will be held Monday, May 4 in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St. at 12 p.m., where a service will take place at 1 p.m. Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bide-a-While Animal Shelter, the SPCA or a charity of your choice.
