Kelly, Elizabeth J. -54, of Halifax, passed away on February 8th, 2011 at the QE II Halifax Infirmary, after a 10 year battle with cancer. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of Jean (Bleasdale) Schnare and the late Cecil Schnare. Elizabeth worked with the Federal Government for 33 years. Her most recent position was with CRA. She is survived by her husband Stanley and her brother Peter Schnare, and niece Alison Schnare. Besides her father, she was predeceased by her brother Danny. Visitation will be held on Sunday February 13 and Monday February 14, from 1-3 and 5-7pm, in Cruikshank’s Halifax Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, (902) 423-7295, where funeral will be held at 11am on Tuesday February 15.
