Goldie L. Mosher

Mosher, Goldie Lillian 86 Halifax passed away on October 8, 2011 with her children at her side in the QeII Health Sciences Centre Halifax Infirmary Site. Born in Western Shore she was a daughter of the late Archibald and Flossie ( Hiltz) Myra. Goldie was a graduate of Halifax School of Stenography.She was employed with the HMC Dockyard and later with the Registered Nurses Association for a number of years. She loved to knit and crochet for her family and the newborns at the Grace Maternity Hospital. Goldie was a very active member of the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, where she volunteered her time and also with countless other groups She is survived by a son Tony ( Theresa) Mosher; Hammonds Plains, a daughter Tanya ( Milos) Navratil; Halifax ,brother Gabe ( Marilyn) Myra; Summerside, PEI.; Five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren .She was predeceased by her husband Charles, son Terrance, two sisters and two brothers. Visitation 2-4,6-8 Tuesday in Cruikshanks Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St. Halifax .From where funeral service will take place 2 pm Wednesday October 12,2011 Rev. Kimber McNabb officiating.
