

Harry was an extremely well liked man by many people in his community. He had a huge heart, and this was presented in his occupation. He worked for a Coalition Support Services, which helped low income people in the community.
Harry will be forever remembered by his wife, Eileen Brightman and his children Valerie Brightman and Shawn Herring. Harry will also be fondly remembered by his nine grandchildren, Courtney Brightman, Brooklynn Brightman, Shawn, Joshua, Jessica, Decodea (Herring) and by his five great grandchildren, Zoey, Josh, Autumn, Nevaeh and Tylee. He will also be missed by his brothers, Winston (Tex) , Danny, Meldrum (Mel), Murray, Ray (Brightman) sisters, Luilla Coffill, Caroline Hackett. Also he will be forever remembered by his nieces and nephews, Douggy and Rosanna (Coffill). Harry was predeceased by his parents Mabel and Murray Brightman, and his niece Tammy Coffill.
A Funeral Service in memory of Harry will be held on Tuesday, August, 22 2017, at Cruickshank's Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St. Halifax NS. Visitation will be from 2-4pm and 6-7pm and Funeral Service will be Tuesday, August, 22, 2017, 7pm at Cruickshank's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Anderson officiating.
