Snow, Isabel Mae, age 86 of Halifax passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013, in Melville Lodge. Born in Brickton, NS, she was the daughter of the late Gordon Crandel and Vera (Banks). During WWII Isabel was in the Air Force Reserves. She loved to travel North America, and over the years, she was a devoted volunteer for many charities. Isabel was a good friend to all who knew her. She is survived by sons, David (Theresa); Reginald (Susan); Stephen; sister, Carol (Monty) Gregory; brother, Fran Crandel; three grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Isabel was predeceased by her husband Reginald “MacPherson” Snow. A graveside service will be held at a 3 p.m. today at Oakridge Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
