Jean Warnell - (Forhan) Born in Halifax on Nov. 17, 1928 - passed away at the QE II on November 14, 2013. Jean is survived by daughter Linda Raskin (Leon), son Robert McAvoy (Doris) daughter Kathy Lewis (Patrick), brother Jim MacDonald (Alice) sister Patsy Carr (George) eight grandchildren, eight great grand children and many nieces and nephews. Jean is predeceased by daughter Beverly (McAvoy) , first husband James McAvoy and second husband Dan Warnell, sisters Doris, Genevieve, Shirley and brother Dan. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Cruickshanks Funeral home 2666 Windsor St Halifax on Tuesday, November 19 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A private family graveside memorial will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Halifax at a later date.
