I was very sorry to hear about John's passing. He designed a few renovations for us as our family grew and we needed more space. Clearly, he was gifted at his chosen profession. There's not a day that goes by when I am not thankful for the skill and care he put into the work. He turned a house into our home. But my memories of John are more about his approach and manner. He was accommodating, generous, open-minded, and far too patient! But he was also direct when necessary and kept us on track. It was a privilege to work with him.
My condolences to the entire family.

Hi Sally
I was so sorry to learn of John's death, please accept my condolences. I remember working with John in the 1970s and 80s and was always impressed with his talent. I more or less lost touch with him once he left our office but reconnected in the last few years at the SMU gym. He will be missed.
All the best to you and your family, thinking of you.
