

Katharine Lynne Beaman decided to exit stage left on February 15, 2025. Though, born in Shawville, Quebec April 20, 1969, she moved with her family, in 1974, and grew up in Norton, New Brunswick.
After graduating from Belleisle Regional High School in 1987, She made her home in Halifax, NS. Where she went on to complete a Bachelor of Science from Dalhousie University in 1990 and a Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resource Management from Saint Mary's University in 2003.
Katharine spent her life working in both the private and public sectors, most notably as the Executive Assistant to the President and CEO of SONCO Group. This position and her dedication and hard work led to being Officially recognized by the Austrian Consulate of Halifax as Honorary Vise Consul of Austria for the Atlantic Provinces in 2006.
Katharine was also dedicated to the community by volunteering with MISA, Voice Print Canada and breakfast program at St Johns United Church, as well as a member of the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia.
Katharine was blessed by many family members and those who were as close as family.
She is survived by her brother Robert, her niece Evelyn (Jolene) and nephew Adrien, as well as several cousins and many great friends around the world. She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Gaynel Beaman and nephew Michael Beaman.
Celebration of life to be held at Cruikshank's Funeral Home Saturday, April 19th at 1:00 pm.
