Dear Lois, Paul, Cathy and Raymond,
Please know that my prayers and thoughts are with you.  It's nearly a life time ago since our families were connected at the hip so to say.  My siblings spent many waking and sleeping hours at your family home during their youth.  Losing a sibling that you loved is never easy no matter how old you are.  Hold Mark's memory and the  good times you shared close to your heart.  These will help you get through tomorrow, the next day and days down the road.
May the Good Lord send angels to stand watch while you grieve.

My thoughts and condolences are with the family of Mark.  Used to sit with Mark at Jenny;s, and he would say, to myself and Wally MaCarthy----Is this where catchers die.......I played ball for many years and shared with Mark many memories of playing and umpiring ball........in Metro Major.  . Mark, you were a great friend. We shared a lot of drives, a lot of meals and some good drinks. You will always hold a special place in my heart. Your family meant the world to you. You were so proud of your children and grandchildren. You beamed when you talked about them. Aww Bailey. How he must wonder where you are. May you rest in peace Mark. 

I've known Mr. Perry for close to 45 years.  I was a kid growing up in the Northend of Halifax and consequently spent a ton of time at Highland Park playing fastpitch.  Mr. Perry was the President of the Association for many years and he did such a great job.  He provided a well organized league/association that helped provide a fun place for me to go to play fastpitch and ultimately take my talents abroad.  If it wasn't for Mr. Perry's hard work and dedication to Highland Park, I doubt I would have stayed with the sport and as a result missed out on a lot of opportunities, memories and experiences.  I will never forget that and will always be appreciative of Mr. Perry's efforts.

Upon reading of the news of the passing of your beloved Mark, I wish to send my deepest condolences to all. 
It is times like these that we need others to help in times of pain on loosing a loved one. Over the years I saw how deeply your family means and the importance of time together in assisting each other through the highs and lows of life. And at this very poignant time, your (family, friends, community, and co-workers) reach out to help you when your hearts are broken.
