McRae, Mildred Jean Paige-McRae, 91 Halifax, passed away Feb 14, 2015 at the QEII New Halifax Infirmary. Born in Halifax she was a daughter of the late Hillary and Amy Ryan Blackburn. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and crafts. Mildred had retired from the Hotel Nova Scotian and The Saraguay Club. She is survived by Daughters: Beverley Ann (John) Babin, Shirley Mary Paige (Bob Desjardins) and Suzanne (Wayne) Hogan. 3 Brothers: Arthur, Leo and Robert. Grandchildren: Angela, Lynnette, Michael, Joseph and Kelly; four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Mildred was predeceased by husbands: Manson and Rod; brothers: Frederick and Donald; stepfather John Howard. Visitation: Friday 10-11 am at Cruikshank’s Funeral Home 2666 Windsor Street where Funeral Service will be held at 11 am. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
