It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Patricia at Ivany Place [Northwood], Bedford, on April 28, 2019 with her loving family at her side, after a long period of declining health. Pat was born in Halifax on July 3,1949, a daughter of the late John Francis and Eleanor Viola (Saulnier) Gannon.
Pat enjoyed a fulfilling career of 32 years with Scotia Bank, starting as a teller and advancing to an administrative position. During that time Pat impacted the lives of many of her coworkers. Over the years she had been involved in TOPS, the Lions Club, Brownies, playing darts and cards. She enjoyed travelling ‘south’, especially to Florida. One highlight of her life was a trip to Graceland, the home of Elvis. Pat’s motto was "not taking anything too personally and knowing the importance of every family member." During her stay at Ivany Place Pat was involved with the Resident Council, Food Committee, Coffee Club and Ivany Canteen.
