Daughter of the late Robert and Viola Slaunwhite, she is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert; mother to John and Jason (Elsie) Higgins; beloved grandmother to Kristina (Taylor), Megan, Joseph, Sara, Lucas and Jacob. Survived also by her sister, Delores (Merle) Harrie; brothers, Ronald and Robert (Janet) Slaunwhite and special cousin, Arnold Boutilier. She was much loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 at Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, Halifax, NS. Service and burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dialysis Unit of the VG Hospital. May she rest in peace.
