Robert Scher – entrepreneur, financial wizard, amateur theatre actor/performer/director, renowned philosopher and polymath. Bob, age 85, passed away in hospital on Fathers Day, surrounded by Marilyn, his loving wife of 66 years and close friends. He will be missed by his children Allan (Angela), Michael (Valentina) and Tracey (Chris), his five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, as well as all who knew him. He was witty, charming, and had a kind word and a smile for everyone he met. Bob was a glass-half-full guy, and we were blessed to have had him as friend, guide, and traveling companion on the road of life. He will be sorely missed. Thank you, Bob, for making us all smile.
