Howard, Russell Thomas, 51, Halifax passed away January 22 2015 in the QeII Health Sciences Centre VG site . Born in Chapleau ON. He was a son of William Howard, Schreiber, ON and the late Jeannette (Jacobs) Howard. Russell loved the outdoors and spending time at the family camp in Nicholson. He was an avid reader and loved cooking. He was an outgoing vibrant person who was loved by all that knew him. He was very proud of his culinary achievements and received many accolades from his time working in the food industry. Surviving is his wife Wanda Nickerson, daughter Elizabeth ( David) Howard, step-daughter Amanda Greenwood; step-son Andrew Greenwood, brothers Mitchell Howard, Gregory Howard, sister Tracy Howard, four grandsons Bruno E-J Bruno-Bossio , Devilyn Cleverdon, Noah Greenwood, Abel Greenwood, granddaughter Aubree Greenwood and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday January 28, 2015 at 11am in St. Theresa’s Church North St. Halifax.
