Age 99, Halifax, passed away on May 21, 2015 at St. Vincent’s Nursing Home. Born in Halifax and grew up in Chezzetcook, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Adelaide (Melvin) Pettipas. She was a member of St. Mary’s Basilica parish and member of the Children of Mary Sodality. She is survived by sons, Basil, Seaforth and Thomas, Halifax; 4 grandchildren, great grandchildren several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald; brothers, Joseph Allan, Martin, Edwin; sisters Nora, Mary Olive, Helen, Marjorie. Visitation will be held at Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St on Monday, May 25, 2015 from 2-4, 6-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Basilica, Halifax on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 9:00am. Interment will be in St. Genevieve’s Cemetery in East Chezzetcook. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
