POPE, Sheila "Pat" — 88 , Halifax. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sheila "Pat" Pope on April 12, 2010, in the Halifax Infirmary QEII. Born in Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Anne (Cummings) Flood. Survived by her second husband, Clarence "Clary" Pope, and adopted daughter, Kathy Sarty of Dartmouth. She was predeceased by her first husband, Gordon Sarty; sisters, Una Thomson, Betty Throwbrdge; brother, Robert Flood. Visitation will be held 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, April 15 in Cruikshank's Halifax Funeral Home, 2032 Robie St. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, April 16 in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, 2267 Brunswick St. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville.
