Shirley was employed at Eaton’s department store for over 30 years.
She is survived by her daughter; Pam Barr of Halifax; her son; Brian Barr of Halifax as well as 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
As per Shirley’s wishes there will not be a memorial service. Donations in memory of her may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
