

Foxton, Thomas Bruce- age 86 years of Halifax, died peacefully at home with his wife and daughter by his side. Born in Shoal Lake, Manitoba he was one of eight children of the late William and Mary Jane Foxton.
From an early age and through the years Tommie was a kind and helpful man to both family and friends. He was a loving husband and father. At the age of 17, he left home and came to Nova Scotia where he worked in Halifax as a painter at the Roy Building; in construction for Keddy Construction and for Southwest Properties from where he retired.
Tommie is survived by his wife Frances of 64 years; daughter Debbie (Geoff); grandson Don (Daniela); great-granddaughter Sophie; sisters Sheila ( Percy) and Hannah; sister-in –law Ruby (Art), brother-in-law Jack; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers James, Allan, William and Harvey and his sister Elizabeth MacInnes.
No service or visitation will be held at Tommie’s request. In memory of Tommie, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
