

Nathaniel Alan “Big Al” Brown, age 43, of Oxford, passed away on September 14, 2012. He was born on May 19, 1969 in Columbus, the son of Ronald Duane and Judy A. (Morgenstern) Brown. Alan was a 1987 graduate of Talawanda High School. Over the years, he had worked at numerous places as a Chef’s Assistant, Landscaper, Pipefitter and HVAC Technician. Alan was a member of Moose Lodge #36, an avid dart player, music fanatic, and was meticulous and precise in everything he did. He loved cooking, arrowhead hunting, and the outdoors, but he especially loved his children. Alan is survived by the mother of his children, Nicki Egerton of Oxford; children, Nathaniel Zane Brown and Morgan Elizabeth Brown, both of Oxford; mother, Judy A. Brown of Oxford; siblings, Melissa Anne (Brian) Blodgett of Bowie, MD, Duane Eric Brown of Hamilton and Angelia Beth Fryer of College Corner, IN; several nieces and nephews, other relatives; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Duane Brown. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 10:30am at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton with Rev. Dr. Peggy Garrison officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday (Today) from 5-8pm at the funeral home. Interment in Dudley Cemetery will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a Trust Fund for Morgan and Zane Brown c/o Judy A. Brown.
