BRANTON, Doyle Edward age 75 of Hamilton went home to Heaven on Sunday, December 16, 2012. His family had the privilege of holding his hands while praying him from this life into the loving arms of our Lord to again see his daughter Sheila, parents Mack and Paulette Branton, brothers Jim and Paul Branton, and a host of angels. Doyle was born on September 15, 1937 in Burnsville, North Carolina, was a proud resident of Shoal Creek, and graduated from Micaville High School. While enlisted as a Teletype Operator in the Army, he married and swept his sweetheart, Gloria Yelton-Deaton off her feet to Germany. Doyle was employed as an assembler at Mosler Safe Company and was a member of Victory Pentecostal Tabernacle. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Branton; son, Michael Branton; daughter, Rhonda Webb; grandchildren Miranda (Ryan) Gabbard, Haley and Brianna Webb, Ashley, Alyssa, and Anthony Branton, Simeon Chandler; great-grandchildren Ethan and Isabella Gabbard, Lyric and Dominic Branton, and Rylee Chandler; a special niece, Karenetta (Gary) Grubb; brothers Wayne (Norma) Branton and Dean (Kay) Branton; sister Emogene (Gale) Silver; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
