Donna Lee Lewis

Donna Lee Lewis, born Donna Lee Volterman, to Helen Volterman (nee Rolf) and Walter Volterman, on May 25th, 1944, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home of almost 60 years in Sharonville, Ohio, on August 29th, 2025, surrounded by family.

Donna had 2 passions in life. The first, her family. Donna was preceded in death by her parents Helen & Walter, husband Cecil Joe Lewis, son Nicholas Collopy, grandson Baby Nick, and sister Judith Haney. She is survived by her son Thomas Collopy and daughter in law Wendy Collopy; daughter Shannon Maska (nee Lewis) and son in law Jesse Maska; daughter in law Michelle Collopy (nee Potee); step son Joel Lewis and daughter in law Michelle Lewis, step son Mark Lewis, her brothers Edward Volterman, Michael Volterman and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Her pride and joy were her grandkids Christopher Potee (Sarah), Shawn Collopy Hardin (Brad), Thomas Collopy Jr. (Lindsay), Andrew Collopy (Rikki), Ashley Lewis, Andrea Collopy (Patrick), Dana Collopy, and great grandchildren Hunter Collopy, Isiah Toney, Andrew “Drew” Collopy, Alexander Collopy, Lucas Collopy, Peyton Collopy, Rees Hardin, Charles “Chip” Hardin and Christopher “CJ” Potee Jr.

Her second passion was her garden. In the warm months you could find her tending to her yard and feeding her fish in her backyard ponds. Donna was an avid gardener, winning her community’s beautification award, something she was greatly proud of. She was determined to let her light shine and through her volunteer work at Glendale Place Nursing Home and through her meticulously maintained gardens she succeeded every day.

Donna's family will receive friends at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio Saturday, September 6, 2025 starting at 10:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 am. Following services, Donna will be buried in Rose Hill Burial Park.
