Doris E. Ramsey

She was born on August 26, 1924 in Manchester, KY, the daughter of the late Ambrose and Nora (Samples) Goins. Doris graduated from Car Creek High School and went on to attend Morehead State College. On February 7, 1947 in Hamilton, she married her husband of over 52 years, Jesse Clayton Ramsey, who preceded her in death on January 6, 2000. Doris is survived by her children, Brenda Napper (Tom) Wolpert, Rodney Ramsey, and Joe Ramsey; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild, with two more on the way. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and four siblings. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 5pm until 8pm at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Friday, February 1, 2019 at the funeral home with Pastor Wendell Coning officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
