Dorothy Louise Blevins

Dorothy Louise Blevins, age 87, of Fairfield Twp, Ohio passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025 with her family at her side. Dorothy was born March 31, 1938 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Olah and Etha (Hubbard) Walton, also preceding her death is her beloved husband of 36 years Hobert Gene Blevins in 1993.

Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory, her children Brenda Blevins, Steve (Connie) Blevins, Rob (Nikki) Blevins; grandchildren Jamie Scott, Brad Blevins, Jessica (Chad) Walston, Mariah Compston, Holden Bowlin. Also surviving are nine great-grandchildren, siblings Jeannie (Don) VanNatta, Danny (Lin) Walton and close friends at Tri-County Baptist Church.

Dorothy was a graduate of Fairfield High School, class of 1956. She loved school, was a cheerleader for multiple sports, earned numerous perfect attendance awards, loved basketball and reading. Dorothy was a past member of the Elks lodge, enjoyed golf, playing in 3 leagues and shot a hole-in-one at the Elks Golf Club. She also enjoyed her yard, gardening and especially being with her family.

Dorothy's family would like to extend a special thank you to the Great staff at Harrison Trails, for their compassion and care they gave to mom during her time there.

There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Monday September 15 starting at 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm with Pastor Brian McManus presiding. Following service Dorothy will be laid to rest next to her beloved Hobert.
