Dorothy Elaine Durham-Abrams

Dorothy Elaine Durham-Abrams, age 83 of Fairfield, passed away on Wednesday December 26, 2018 at Tri-County Extended Care. Dorothy was born on November 11, 1935 in Hamilton, the daughter of the late Theodore George and Irene Edith (Keller) McCreadie Sr. On May 15, 1954 she married William Lester Durham and he preceded her in death on January 9, 1997. On July 22, 2000 she married William Edward Abrams. Dorothy was an active long time member of St, Clair Avenue Baptist Church. She is survived by her five children, Denise (Earl) Leonard, Darlene (Jeff) Monnin, Diana (Don) Lair, Doreen (Tim) Reese and Timothy (Katie) Durham; two step-sons, Lance Abrams and Neil (Jackie) Abrams; numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her great grandson Eric Richmond, 13 siblings, Faye Hollingsworth, John McCreadie, Joanne Vaughn, Dave McCreadie, Patricia Martin, Theodore McCreadie Jr., Donald McCreadie, Richard McCreadie, Robert McCreadie, Gloria Alder, Ronald McCreadie, Judith McCreadie and Edith McCreadie and her father-in law and mother-in-law, Benjamin and Sally Bessie Durham. Funeral ceremony will be held at 3pm on Sunday December 30, 2018 at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home with Pastor Don Dewey officiating. Visitation will be held prior to services from 1-3pm at the funeral home. Private burial will be held at Crown Hill Memorial Park.
