

Edna M. Stewart
Age 102, a resident of Berkeley Square, died Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 11:48 P.M. at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Hamilton November 12, 1912 the daughter of William P. and Mary Elizabeth (Heppeard) Sheriff and educated in Hamilton schools. On January 30, 1930 she married Wilson Stewart in Newport, Kentucky. He preceded her in death on March 12, 1958. She retired from General Electric in Evendale as a secretary in quality control after 22 years of service in 1977. She was a member of The Park Avenue United Methodist Church, Hamilton Partners in Prime and AARP. She enjoyed traveling, bowling, playing cards, theatre and life.She was also a Kentucky Colonel and a Tennessee Squire. She is survived by her grandson, Gregg L. Stewart, granddaughters Susan Doyle and Anne Glick, great grandson Aaron Doyle and great granddaughters, Charmagne Doyle, Heather Ramirez and Holly Stewart, five great great grandchildren and loving niece Bonnie Brown and husband Darrell, great niece Debbie Brown, granddaughter-in-law Susan Stitzel and dear friend, Kay Sallee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Stewart, sons; Wilson E. (Stew) Stewart and USAF Ret. Colonel Glenn L. Stewart; grandsons, Rand L. Stewart and Michael Stewart; sister, Mildred Menke; brothers Earl and Robert Sheriff; daughters-in-law; Carolyn J. Stewart and Martha Stewart.
