Geneva nee Hyde

Geneva Hyde (Gordon), age 81, Fairfield Township, beloved daughter of William Gordon and Nannie (Hammonds) Gordon passed peacefully away to be with the Lord on Monday, January 5, 2015, at 8:25 p.m. Geneva was born on February 21, 1933, in Hamilton, OH. Her husband, Clifton Hyde, preceded her in death on October 7, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, three brothers-in-law, a sister-in-law, two nieces, and three nephews. She is survived by her devoted family; Marquetta Hyde Carmichael (Tom Carmichael, Jr.), Ronald Lee Smith (Debbie Bingle), David Hyde, Richard A. Hyde (Roni Zierden), and Douglas J. Hyde; ten grandchildren, Alyson Schweinfest, Jessica Carmichael, Evan Schweinfest, Maria Carmichael, Jacob Hyde, Natalie Hyde, Peyton Hyde, Courtney Hyde, Chelsea Hyde; and grand dog, Biscuit Hyde. Geneva was an avid reader, and she loved her family, friends, babies, and animals. She enjoyed taking her Jack Russell terrier, Bandit, to the dog park in West Chester. She attended North Fairfield Baptist Church and visited Princeton Pike Church of God. One of the best things about her was her Southern Hospitality and her positive outlook on life. Geneva will be dearly missed by her loved ones and many friends.
